Last general election, 2015, Dawn and I worked together on my press release and web page content. Her professionalism and general understanding of media gave me peace of mind and one less thing to worry about, at a period of immense pressure and stress. Dawn was amazing and I shall continue to work with her in the future.

Cornwall Councillor and Prospective Parliamentary Candidate

In 2016 www.businessthink.co.uk commissioned Dawn to proof read and copy edit our new book, Game Change. Dawn completed this work to a very tight deadline and gave us very precise guidance on how to make improvements. Great value for money and great work. We would have no hesitation in recommending Dawn.

Dawn, the person

12004908_445990912254997_6826343469985446015_nDawn moved to the south-west five years ago after a varied career in freelance journalism/publishing, alongside teaching and learning support to secondary age pupils and adults.

Since then, she has also developed expertise in website copywriting and social media, working extensively on her hyperlocal website, Bude and Beyond. She contributes to – and publishes – other websites, and has also written three books, with two more in progress.

A school governor, Dawn enjoys working with young people and adults. She qualified professionally as a secondary school teacher, and has five degrees, including a First in Literature (studied for fun) plus three postgraduate degrees, two in education.

That’s the serious bit. A proactive ‘do it now’ type, Dawn loves writing and editing. While the rest of the world around her is surfing and sunbathing, she is busy reading, blogging, and getting the writing right.
